As you can see rennovations are coming along quite nicely at the new HQ... plaster is off, floor is covered in rubble and there is a clear view from the front to the back of the house - through the walls no less. Is this what they mean by open plan living?

You crazy peeps! Congratulations and buckets of luck with all the work!
We got back on Sunday and it would be really lovely to see you soon, lots of pictures to show you and other exciting stuff too, Sx
I love it already. The layout, the cut woodwork (what's that stuff called, anway?). It's like a farm house.
I do hope this house is actually a surprise gift for me...
Woo hoo, I bet you had a ball!can't wait for the slide-show of the boroughs at the boroughs...
see you next week?
xxb
Shula, you hit the nail on the head (surprise surprise) it's definately somewhere between beach house and farm house with just a touch of the Sullivans, and all within walking distance of great coffee! Personally i'm loving that it currently looks like a set piece from 'Deadwood'.
Now that was what I was thinking..'Deadwood' indeed.
Is that what lies under solid plaster walls?
